1. Arrival at archeological site
1.-1 "Pyramid of the Sun" (Pirámide del Sol).
(300-meter walk on "Avenue of the Dead" [“Calzada de los muertos”])
1.2- "Pyramid of the Moon " (Pirámide de la Luna).
1.3- “Courtyard of the Jaguars” (Patio de los Jaguares).
1.4- “Temple of the Feathered Snails” (Templo de los Caracoles Emplumados).
1.5- “Palace of Quetzalpapálotl” (Palacio de Quetzalpapalotl).
1.6- “Temple of Quetzalcoatl” (Templo de Quetzalcóatl).
2. There are 3 possible options to continue with your tour:
2a Pick up at the parking lot (Gate #3) transfer to the site where the different prehispanic uses of agave and obsidian (volcanic glass) will be explained, in addition to having a spirits tasting (tequila, mezcal y pulque) and a presentation about Teotihuacan’s murals.
2b Walking return to vehicle at Gate #5 (300-meter walk approximately) from the terrace located at the “Pyramid of the Moon” and transfer to the site where the different prehispanic uses of agave and obsidian (volcanic glass) will be explained, in addition to having a spirits tasting (tequila, mezcal y pulque) and a presentation about Teotihuacan’s murals.
2c Walk in the south of the main avenue up to the stairway to the citadel and the “Temple of Quetzalcoatl” (Templo de Quetzalcóatl) (approximately 1 mile on "Avenue of the Dead" [Calzada de los muertos]). Insight into the citadel and the temple, followed by transfer to the site where the different prehispanic uses of agave and obsidian (volcanic glass) will be explained, in addition to having a spirits tasting (tequila, mezcal y pulque) and a presentation about Teotihuacan’s murals.
